SAFCO formally signed the agreement with SPHF for the project “Sindh Floods Emergency Housing Reconstruction Project (SFEHRP)”. The project was initiated on February 08, 2023, In the project, the SAFCO is working as implementation partner. The project areas are District Shaheed Benazirabad and district Naushero Feroz. The key components of the project are: validation and damage assessment of 257504 beneficiaries (143323 beneficiaries in Naushero Feroz and 114181 beneficiaries in Shaheed Benazirabad), construction of houses in three phases which are plinth, lintel and roof as per instalment plan designed by SPHF, training of beneficiaries and masons on multi hazard resilient construction and Standard Operating Procedures/Environmental and Social Code of Practices, formation of Village Reconstruction Committees, signing of MoUs with beneficiaries and Environment & Social Screening, Establishment of GRM, and Implementation of the Labor Management Procedures, and Establishing Gender Help Desk.
